Reflective Supervision: A Guide from Region X to
Enhance Reflective Practice Among Home Visiting Programs (2018)
https://www.wa-aimh.org/rs-guidelines-project
The Guide provides a framework and shared language for reflective supervision that are designed to support reflective practice among not only home visitors, but all infant mental health workers and their supervisors. Self-assessment tools are included to promote the ongoing professional development of home visitors and other frontline workers, supervisors, and program leaders.
The development of the Guide was made possible through funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Program, Region X Innovation Grant (Growing Together to Support Our Home Visiting Workforce). This portion of the Innovation Grant supported an important collaboration between Washington's Department of Children, Youth, and Families and the Infant Mental Health Associations of Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. Jacqui Van Horn, MPH, IMH-E was sub-contracted by WA-AIMH as the Reflective Practice Specialist and served as the lead author of these resources.
An Overivew of the Guide is available below.
